These are my pretty poodoos very glad to have me home again,
after our Parker colo trip for Christmas.
When they realized we were home,
Joon was just a silly clown jumping & smiling.
Running/ scooting with her tail end all scrunched down.
Jazz had a worried look on her face and stuck to me
like glue, anytime i got up
to move around in the house.
Dont leave me again momma!!!!
It is nice to be so loved.
Notice my new do. I dont quite have the hang of
fighting those curls and drying it straight
like the Parker CO stylist did.

This is a few days after surgery #2 that was done on new year's eve.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Dr Bruce Heck removed the pin that went thru
both bones. it was pristine. not the slightest bend in it. he said i had
been a very good girl to stay off it so well. it also made it much easier
to remove. then, as the swelling subsided around my outside ankle
(lateral maelleola), i could really feel the lowest screw that didnt get
seated onto the hole of the plate flat enough. it was going to
rub on every shoe and boot i wore. so he nicely removed that one
for me. so now, the count is only 6 screws and one plate. the rest
i think i will be fine tolerating. he hopes i can, to help keep that poor
broken up bone supported. but if not, he can remove them down
the road.

this is where the I.V. for the drugs was administered. the nurse
really bruised me this time. sorry, i didnt hold the camera still enough
to get a clear picture of the rainbow of color there.
Dr Heck said i really had to have drugs
to put me so sleep...or i wouldnt hold still enough.

this is my first day home from surgery #2. Joon is very very tuned into people
and how they are feeling. she just wanted to lay close to me and keep touching
me. Notice my new tattoo...just kidding. Dr Bruce marked my left leg and circled the
2 screws to come out. after he had carefully done that...i said...that looks nice..but
did you realize, it is my right leg??? he belly laughed. i am sure he hears that lots.
but he nicely laughed anyway.
