Their kitchen looks so pretty and interesting after much redoing.

Now if they will just start cooking in it.

nov 11, 2008.

22 mo old Zachary loves to play

race car with my wheelie chair

great grammma juice loaned me.

the pretty poodles jazz and joon

like to cheer the race team on.

this is a BOOT OF DOOM.
we now have 3 in the family.
if anyone needs one...call justin
or jim or me. we have a variety.
justins is hard used...and might be
too stinky.
but all are for the left leg.
mine has no wear on the bottom so far
as i have not been allowed to bear weight
these first 3 months.
and it is not stinky as my feet smell
sweet as clover.
i devised a way to close as few straps
as possible. so the 3 that go over my
shin are lapped behind and not
across the top. for faster easier on and off.

also taken dec 1 2008,
this is my scar.
not too bad.
i wanted to put a daisy tattoo
on the top of the scar line
as it looks like a flower stem to me.
but enuf of needle pokes for me.

this was taken on dec 1.
9 weeks after the injury.
it compares normal right foot.
if you can call anything about
my feet normal...to the injured
left foot.
it is still swollen on top and toes
where i pulled every ligament in there
and numb and painful.
i also bruised bones on the bottom of
my foot. so it is swollen and sore there
as well. my mom always said give
it your all. never settle for average.

Post Surgery X-Rays

21 Staples - Post surgery on 10/16/08.

Plate with seven small screws will stay in place. The eighth screw will be removed at twelve weeks. The large temporary screw is what is preventing me from bearing weight as it can bend or break.
